Quickstart Guide

Get up and running with GTX DEX in just a few steps. This guide will walk you through connecting your wallet, making your first trade, and earning your first yield.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:
  • A compatible Web3 wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
  • Some ETH or USDC for trading
  • Basic understanding of decentralized trading

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

Visit GTX DEX

Navigate to gtxdex.xyz

Connect Wallet

Click “Connect Wallet” and select your preferred wallet provider

Sign Transaction

Approve the connection request in your wallet
Always verify you’re on the official GTX DEX domain to avoid phishing attacks.

Step 2: Fund Your Account

Option 1: Deposit Directly

Transfer tokens directly to your wallet address. GTX DEX supports:
  • ETH
  • USDC
  • And many more ERC-20 tokens

Option 2: Use the Faucet (Testnet)

For testing purposes, use our faucet to get test tokens:

Step 3: Place Your First Order

  1. Navigate to the Trading page
  2. Select your trading pair (e.g., ETH/USDC)
  3. Choose “Market” order type
  4. Enter the amount you want to trade
  5. Click “Buy” or “Sell”
  6. Confirm the transaction in your wallet

Step 4: Start Earning Yield

Provide Liquidity

Earn fees by providing liquidity to trading pairs:
  1. Go to the Pools section
  2. Select a pool or create a new one
  3. Add your tokens to the pool
  4. Start earning trading fees and rewards

Stake GTX Tokens

Participate in governance and earn staking rewards:
  1. Navigate to Rewards → Staking
  2. Connect your wallet
  3. Stake your GTX tokens
  4. Earn yield and governance rights

Step 5: Monitor Your Portfolio

Track your trading performance and yields:
  • Portfolio Overview: View all your positions and balances
  • Trade History: Review your past transactions
  • Yield Dashboard: Monitor your earning rates
  • Rewards Tracking: See your accumulated rewards
